HERE

At about 7:15 p.m. yesterday Jeri and I were sitting at a picnic table near the lakeshore. This little guy toddled out of the underbrush and peered at us, wide-eyed, for 3-4 minutes.  The fawn stood about 10 yards away.

I've seen rainbows before, but the edge of this low-hanging cloud opened into an oval window of color. Jeri said, "It seems like hope," so I receive hope.

Back at Payne Lake, here I watch workers restore electric power in the campground,  since a falling tree snapped the power line last night. It prompts me to reflect on my connections with the myriad of powers that influence strangers, friends, relatives, acquaintances, and me. How am I tending the "power lines" that deliver the energy for living to me?

We picture ourselves here: It's not too dangerous...

There may be a mouse in the house...er...truck.
