At the Florida Cracker Kitchen in Brooksville we share lunch, conversation, and rainfall with Jeri’s cousins. Flatwoods Park is a hoot...or a screech. We see a couple of hawks going at it!
We tour the Ringling Estate in Sarasota, Florida, taking a midday break to eat at Captain Brian's Restaurant nearby. We contemplate Renaissance art at the museum. As we walk across a footbridge toward the exit, a bird flies up and perches on the handrail next to us. Beautiful. Roger wonders at its approach. He marvels at its movement and speech. Maybe the bird is a living message or a divine messenger.
We drove from Thonotosassa, Florida, to Tarpon Springs, Florida, this morning. It's a beautiful day, and we stroll around the city park, enjoying the sights. There are manatees swimming about in the water. Creation energy seems to radiate all about us.
