Pickled Pelican Here

We arrived at Holly Beach, Louisiana,  yesterday and are parked at an RV resort right on the Gulf of Mexico.  It's quiet, but with ample evidence (tire tracks in the sand) of weekend activities. The wind is blowing from the south, so the locals tell us, "The mosquitoes aren't so bad." I get it. We traveled through 35 miles of wetlands to get here.
